OverBoard Provides Waterproof Backpacks For The GORE-TEX Arctic Challenge

OverBoard Waterproof Backpack Dry Tube

OverBoard has recently provided some waterproof bags and waterproof backpacks for the GORE-TEX Arctic Challenge. The challenge will see a team of RIB enthusiasts, including sailing hero Pete Goss, and will undertake an intrepid adventure to the Arctic this summer, pushing themselves and their equipment to the limit. The group of 7 men and 1 woman will take part in the first ever GORE-TEX Arctic Challenge and travel from Scotland to the Arctic Circle in 6 meter Suzuki powered RIBs over the course of 6 days.

To complete the challenge, the group will have to endure some gruelling conditions and our waterproof backpack dry tube is seen as the perfect companion for the enthusiasts.

OverBoard are more than happy to provide the waterproof bags and waterproof backpacks, and would like to wish the whole team the best of luck with the challenge.

OverBoard Sponsors UK Windsurfing Association

OverBoard are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the UK windsurfing association (UKWA) for a further 12 months. The UKWA run a number of competitive competitions in the UK throughout the year and OverBoard will be providing a range of waterproof backpacks, waterproof dry tubes, waterproof cases and waterproof dry bags as prizes for the winners of these competitions. We will also be providing each participant with a waterproof dry pouch and carbineer key ring.

The UKWA recently sent us a picture of the UK National Junior Squad flying the OverBoard flag for all to see. The pic was taken at the Junior Windsurfing Championships that took place in Weymouth.
